Godot. The End of the Man
Every few years, I would have the same nightmare: the two halves of my upper jaw would compress and begin to fuse together. In the dream, my face would go numb, my tongue would twitch convulsively, and in reality, I would clench my teeth so hard that I chipped them.
After a series of these dreams, an idea for a sculpture emerge — I fused a human skull with a bird’s. Thus were born the remains of Godot.

Godot’s curse is that he looks too good—so good that all doors open before him. It’s impossible to be alone, impossible to go into isolation. So he went into the forest and disappeared… until he was found beneath a rotted hat.
The sculpture The End of the Man is made of unglazed biscuit porcelain and released in two sizes: life-size (30 pieces) and small format (100 pieces).
If you don’t get lost, you’ll never be found.
